Frankfurt/Main / Leinfelden-Echterdingen, August 23, 2018 - The ET GLOBAL based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, has acquired all stakes in bluepool GmbH, based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart, Germany. All four founders have sold their stakes completely. Two of them, Rainer Pfeil and Frank-Dieter Keinath, remain with bluepool as managing directors. The acquisition is part of ET GLOBAL's strategy to strengthen its position as a leading provider of brand staging for trade fairs and events, lounges, showrooms, offices and exhibition space.

The takeover of bluepool GmbH by ET GLOBAL was closed on August 22, 2018. ET GLOBAL specializes in the development and implementation of sophisticated brand spaces and focuses on companies with international programs in the premium segment. bluepool complements the existing portfolio and the approach with sophisticated customer relationships, primarily in southern Germany. As an owner with a long-term strategic interest, ET GLOBAL uses the acquisition to expand its own range of services and to integrate the competence of 120 bluepool employees into its own group.

ET GLOBAL's customers include Audi, Deutsche Lufthansa, Astra Zeneca, Abbott and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as well as leading medium-sized companies such as Krones, Phoenix Contact and Sew-Eurodrive. bluepool's customers include Daimler, MTU Friedrichshafen, Bosch Rexroth, Messe Stuttgart and Osram.

In fiscal year 2017, ET GLOBAL implemented more than 2,000 projects and employed around 500 people at 10 locations in the USA, EMEA and in the APAC region. Both companies together generated sales in the three-digit million range and double-digit EBITDA margins.
